For those who still don’t know the story, Phil and I dated sa batis doon sa Mamala. We ordered food, took a tricycle then walked to the place. Nothing fancy you know. It wasn’t far. Nothing treacherous. It wasn’t even tiring. But I did feel uneasy throughout the path because it was just the two of us and I couldn’t help but think of the possibility of getting lost in the woods (I bet it’s because of all those stupid movies). We didn’t get lost of course. and we were already in a sari-sari store drinking beer when it started raining.
The highlight would have to be when dogs came yapping out of nowhere, scaring the hell out of us. They belonged to this farmer who went to the woods, all 11 of them. But we didn’t know about it because everything happened so fast. I knew we could handle a few stray dogs but 11?!
Many of them did sniff our bags and butts(seriuosly) but of course they just passed through. The same farmer also gave away some vegetables to the tricycle driver when we saw them on our way back home. I got to take a photo of the dogs again when I was more composed. haha!
I originally wanted lunch at Ugu Bigyan’s but they were booked so we had to think of something else. I have to admit it didn’t seem like plan b, wouldn’t you agree?
